Victoria’s Rosie Beale made her senior international debut in 2015 on a test series in New Zealand and then went on to be a part of the Women’s National Team that competed at World League Round 2 in Dublin, Ireland. The team advanced to the tournament final against the host Irish and narrowly lost in a shootout.
While playing at the University of Victoria for the Vikes, Beale was a Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) All-Star in 2012 and won a silver medal in 2013. She was also a Canada West All-Star in 2013 and 2014.
Rosie’s role model is her grandmother, Phyllis, who she considers the bravest women she knows.
